I've had several long term ER jobs, and because of that I feel uniquely qualified to compare the work and lifestyle I enjoyed with this group to other roles available in emergency medicine, in both democratic and contract groups. The short answer is that a career with this group is leaps and bounds beyond what most other groups have to offer. Real effort is put into your schedule and workload, there is a tangible and very relatable pathway to advance in the company, and since it greatly benefits them for you to succeed, again, every effort is made for that to happen. As the group is truly run by the providers, questions are answered and suggestions are discussed. I had a voice with this group which is something that is all too rare in our profession. All in, I spent 13 years or so with them and they are by far the most satisfying of my professional life.

I have to commend you on your excellent management, as I have experienced less organized management since leaving your group.

IEC was my first job straight out of residency. When I arrived, I felt welcomed and felt like I truly had a voice. I was very fortunate to be surrounded by such a strong group of physicians who acted like mentors as well as colleagues. Through my six years with the company, I have grown as a physician and have learned a great deal about the business side of the room as well. This is a group that genuinely cares about the well-being and growth of its practitioners.

I have worked for IEC & IECSS for the vast majority of my emergency medicine career. It was an excellent place to start working with colleagues that I respected. They helped me understand key concepts of patient care & flow in a community based practice. For many years now, I've been working in humanitarian disaster response & IECSS has been supportive. They have provided a flexibility so that I might be able to have the best of both worlds, which is rare in this sector. IECSS works hard to ensure that we can positively influence all the things that we can control in the emergency department, so that you, the physician, can put your best foot forward, no matter what chaos walks through the door.

In 2017 I had the privilege of speaking with Erika O’Brien, CEO of Indiana Emergency Care. We (Monroe Hospital) were looking for an emergency physician group to partner with. Their professional goals and motivation to provide exceptional patient care aligned with ours.
Dr. Sansone, our ED Medical Director, leads his team of physicians; adapting to changes in healthcare. We take pride in our quick door-to-doctor and overall throughput times. Our ever-growing, fast-paced ED has maintained #1 ranking in patient satisfaction scores for Prime Healthcare Services since 2022.

Director Emergency Department
I mean this from the bottom of my heart, the group is just fantastic and an excellent job opportunity for our students and really any PA.
-S.D. Harper, MPAS, PA-C
The ER we work in is just nine beds and requires close teamwork, especially on night shift, between all the departments. Dr. Seall has always worked well with our team. He treats each of us as a valuable member of the team. He provides timely and compassionate care to all who enter our facility. He also provides clear and concise instructions to patients in a way that they can understand. He is easy to communicate with, as well.
-S. Butte, RN
Dr. Seall has always treated the staff he has worked around with the utmost respect. He is a really great communicator and I can always bring any concern I have to him, with no fear of what his response will be. He also considers recommendations and other staff's opinions. If I know a certain diagnostic will better fit his treatment plan, I am not afraid to tell him.
